Goal 3: Ensure a healthy life and promote the well-being of all people at all ages
Ref. GRI Standard: 203-2, 305-1, 305-2, 305-3, 305-6, 305-7, 306-1, 306-2, 306-3, 306-4, 401-2, 403-6-a, 403-6-b, 403-9-a, 403-9-b, 403-9-c, 403-10-a, 403-10-b, 403-10-c
Dau's mission and raison d'être: Improving the quality of life of people with mental disorders and their families through labor insertion into a quality and decently paid job. For this reason we carry out 2 strategic actions: 1) we have created and manage a social enterprise where people with vulnerability or disability can exercise a quality employment. 2) we created services for vulnerable people, training, in the pre-employment training service, and the job placement service in which we accompany them in their search for employment in other companies in the area and in the social enterprise we manage, Laboratori Fundació DAU, which currently has 70% of vulnerable employees. After 2 years of working at Laboratori Fundació Dau or in other companies in the territory, vulnerable workers improve their quality of life and autonomy and reduce their relapses and need less treatment, thus normalizing their role as citizens who also contribute to the common good and freeing themselves from stigma. The family support groups organized by Fundación DAU reinforce the guidelines for empowerment of vulnerable people in their homes and also contribute to their recovery. |

Goal 4: Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all
Ref. GRI Standard: 404-1
Within the framework of the pre-employment training service, a work environment is simulated through Learning and Service projects, where users assume responsibilities and improve their teamwork skills. There is also access to the Second Training Opportunity program where users have personalized support to finish the training itinerary that was interrupted by the disease and thus obtain higher-qualified and quality jobs. Every year between 45 and 65 people are trained in this service. In the Labor Insertion service, vulnerable young people are trained and accompanied in social skills, problem solving, self-knowledge, which allows them to improve their esteem and confidence in themselves and in others. These improved personal skills are directly related to the satisfaction and maintenance of employment in the medium term. Users of this service are between 90-120 vulnerable youth per year. In the Laboratori Fundació Dau, an annual training plan is carried out, both continuous training in areas of Occupational Risk Prevention, Compliance, Equality, quality processes such as GMP, ISO, and specific or new procedures. In addition to the common continuous training, training is carried out according to the specific work area in which they work. The current areas are : Production, Warehouse, Quality Control Laboratory, in-process quality control conditioning line inspections, Clean Room Cleaning and Administration. The workers with vulnerability in 2023 have been 99 hired. SINGULARS 2023, of the Dpt. Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya, offers training and personalized attention to young people from 16 to 29 years old to improve their employability. Thirteen young people participated in Fundació Dau, resulting in one annual contract, one volunteer commitment and four starting training programs. Ocells de Foc, initiated in 2023 by the Generalitat de Catalunya, raises awareness, provides psychosocial support and includes young people with mental health problems in the labor market. The program is managed collaboratively between mental health and social organizations. Fundació Dau participates in the Sants-Montjuic district of Barcelona, attending to 26 young people... |

Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
GRI Standard: 102-22, 102-24, 202-1, 203-1, 401-1, 401-2, 401-3, 404-3, 405-1, 405-2, 406-1, 414-1, 414-2
At Fundació DAU, with 32 years of experience, we have analyzed why more men than women with mental health issues seek our services. Vulnerable women, due to cultural factors, tend to be the ones who primarily stabilize the family home by helping with household chores, whereas in the case of men, the family is more active in Search employment Search for their vulnerable family member. For this reason, at the Foundation we carry out actions of positive discrimination and influence family associations in the sector in order to help women who are vulnerable due to psychological suffering to have a second chance and to be able to decide on their lifestyle. Fundació DAU has developed the 2022-2024 Equality Plan, which has achieved all the objectives that have been strategically set. The next edition of the Fundació DAU Equality Plan will be in force from 2025. |

Goal 8: Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all

In the social sector and specifically in the area of Special Employment Centers (CEE), in the last 15 years the managing entities of social and non-profit CEE, including Fundació Dau, have been committed to generate business models related to business activities of the territory, in order to be sustainable over time and with the ability to adapt to changes in the environment. This approach has allowed us to serve the pharmaceutical sector, which is deeply rooted in Catalonia. We have been able to offer a specialized employment model where people can grow and at the same time generate a recognition of the value of our vulnerable workers, through continuous and specific training showing their capacity, quality and rigor in their work. On the other hand, we can contribute to the economic growth of the country with our services to the pharmaceutical sector. An initiative of Fundació DAU aimed at workers and offered annually to workers with and without disabilities, is the possibility of professional certification, through which the body of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya, evaluates the skills of workers who lack formal qualifications for the performance of their job, but who have experience of these integrated skills. This certificate allows their curriculum can put in value the certificate of professionalism in relation to the official curriculum in force at all times. In 2023, four Laboratori DAU employees were accompanied to obtain the certificate. For the companies for which we work, if they wish, they can choose Laboratori DAU through the services of conditioning and certification of batches that hire us to comply with the Alternative Measures of the LISMI Law, for the integration of people with disabilities in their workforces, in case they cannot incorporate profiles with disabilities according to the size of their own workforce. |

Goal 10: Reducing inequality within and between countries
GRI Standard Ref.: 102-8, 207-1, 207-2, 207-3, 207-4, 401-1, 404-1, 404-3, 405-2
People with mental health problems have the same rights as any other person. However, the employment rate is 26.9% in 2021 (INE) in relation to the non-disabled population which is 66.3%. Therefore, with labor structures adapted to support vulnerable people ,We are able to reduce the inequality gap and improve their job opportunities. With the necessary support, they have shown themselves to be very capable of performing a job. For this reason, and in order not to be limited to the positions created in the laboratori Fundació Dau, we participate in public and private programs of labor insertion of vulnerable people in companies in the market close to our location in Catalonia. In order to make them successful experiences, we accompany not only the employee but also the referents in the company to guide them in the adaptation of the vulnerable person in the workplace. The rate of satisfaction in the inclusion of diversity in their workforces of companies that have hired vulnerable people is 98% in 2023 (compared to 92% in 2022), with a sample of 13 companies in Barcelona and Baix Llobregat. In 2023, 83 people with disabilities have been inserted into the labor market in companies in the territory. In order to achieve stability in the hiring of people by companies, Fundació DAU maintains the support and monitoring of both the worker and the company that has hired him/her indefinitely. |

Objective 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its effects.
GRI Standard: 201-2, 302-1, 302-2, 302-3, 302-4, 302-5, 305-1, 305-2, 305-3, 305-4, 305-5
Installation of a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption during 2023. They are put into operation in May 2024. The objective is to include renewable energies in the generation of electricity in the foundation's facilities and to reduce pollution due to the use of fossil fuels. |

Goal 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development
Ref. GRI Standard: 207-1, 207-2, 207-3, 207-4
The actions that Fundació Dau carries out in this SDG, are based on the evidence that in the life of any person there must be a balance between individual, family, work and social relations. Any lack or imbalance in any of these four main areas of life can generate stress that is difficult to reconcile with an autonomous and satisfactory life in people with previous psychological suffering. For this reason, at the Dau Foundation we create alliances with other entities related to the group and dedicated to complementary activities to ours. That is to give support and protection to vulnerable people in àrees of decent housing, in social clubs, in training centers, in legal and medical care if needed, etc ... so that we can provide the aid that people may need at any time. On the other hand, non-profit organizations with the same mission as Fundació DAU, together with other organizations, federated at the Catalan level in 2005 in order to collaborate and advocate with public administrations and civil society so that equal opportunities and rights would become a reality for the group of people with mental health problems. This second level organization is AMMFEINA and Fundació DAU has been a member of its Board of Directors since its beginnings and remains so today. |

ISO 26000. Corporate Social Responsibility
ISO 26000 Scheme
VSME Ref. (CSRD-EU): B2.006 - GRI Standard: 2-29, 3-1, 3-2 -
In the Fundació DAU's ISO 9001 quality system, the stakeholders are identified in the section on interested parties, among others. The last update is from 2021, and the identification process is carried out by measuring the impact they have on the organization. Positive contributions to sustainable development or economic, social and environmental impact.
The materiality analysis of Fundacio Dau highlights the priority positive contribution to social development, since the foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life of people with mental health problems through their integration into quality and decently paid employment.
The second positive impact is the economic one, since applying the return on investment of social income (public and private subsidies), we obtain LAboratori's Social SROI Ratio DAU FOUNDATION : 1 €: 3.39 €, . In other words, for every euro that the public or private administration grants to DAU, DAU obtains and generates a social value of 339% of the amount granted, demonstrating that it is not an expense but an investment in the community. These positive impact factors allow us as organizations to be sustainable since we are producing 70% of the economic resources with our own resources. Our goal is 100% because then the future risk of changes in the allocation of aid, or reduction of subsidies, will minimize the impact on the organization's mission.
As negative factors of the materiality analysis it appears that we need to improve our knowledge of our impact as an organization on the environment and secondly how to minimize our negative impact on the environment as much as possible.
We do not currently have a materiality matrix following reporting standards such as the GRI or the European ESRS standards; however, the RightSupply platform will allow us to extend our analysis process to new impact aspects such as environmental aspects.
